The movie explores into a number of interesting things about living in UK. With many positive reviews, all the films selected for Konkani Film Festival have so far met with resounding success and received acclaim for their portrayal of the rich musical heritage of Goa and Mangalore. In general, the movie was praiseworthy and appreciated by all the audience.
Along with professional actors Ester Noronha and Prince Jacob, debutants Elton, Ranjitha and Clenwin D’Souza in a negative have excelled in their acting and proved their potential to emerge as the promising artistes. The two and half hour film ‘NoshibachoKhell’ with a story of a love triangle between Cynthia (Ranjitha Lewis), Johnson (Elton Mascarenhas) and Sophia (Ester Noronha) along with the perfect mix of comedy and twists in the story succeeded to fulfill the expectations of the audience. Gulf Voice of Mangalore Season 5 winner Joyline Gonsalves was honored with flower bouquets. “NoshibachoKhell” producer Henry D’Silva Suratkal, Ester Noronha, Nachom –iaMogaKumpasar producer Glen Baretto, co-producer Simon D’Silva, Swapnil Shetkar – director of ‘Home Sweet Home2, lead star John D’Silva, producer of Nirmon Nilesh Newalkar, Armando Fernandes, Producer- writer- director of BIG BEN Mark de Araujo, Martin Alfonso, Ramdas, host Gasper Crasto, Co-host Anjali, Carmo Santosh and T Bush Rebello were felicitated with mementoes by Sunil Jain. Fr Noel D’Almeida, Henry D’Silva Suratkal and lead actress Ester Noronha also spoke a few words on the movie. Local priests Fr Noel D’Almeida, Fr Franco and Fr Xavier were present during the occasion. They spoke a few words on the film festival and wished bright future for Konkani Cinema. Ambassador of India to Kuwait Sunil Jain, The Goan Cultural Centre Kuwait president Carmo Santosh and T Bush Rebello were welcomed to the stage with flower bouquets by Abbasiya Konkani Families Kuwait President Ronnie Fernandes. The movie started with a short introduction by compere Lydia Misquith. The films screened incorporated a strong cast of talented actors and actresses who easily charmed the audience with their extraordinary performance.
The Goan Cultural Centre Kuwait, in association with T-Bush International Films and Konkani Community of Holy Family Cathedral, presented the first ever Konkani Film Festival in Kuwait featuring 6 Konkani movies.
